Starting at 10:00 a.m. "Princely Sunday breakfast".
At 11:.30 a.m. meeting in Minden (about 12 km, arrival with the own
car) at the Simeonsplatz square in the former defense barracks from the year 1829. Today,
the classicist construction accomodates the Prussia museum. A guided tour
through the exhibition of the land history from the 17th to the beginning of the 20th
century shows a multitude of rare originals, complex models and figures in demonstrative
productions. Afterwards a town guidance by the castle lord through the historical
town Minden takes place.
The chef awaits you in the evening for a topic menu with 3 courses.

After breakfast, you have the possibility to take a winter hike through the winter
landscape near the Weser River. Maybe, you
can take pretty winter pictures if the winter weather is fine and the snow creates beautiful winter sceneries.
Of course, you can also take a walk through the shopping streets of
Minden (about 12 km), or a trip to Buckeburg (about 24 km), Stadthagen
(about 25 km) or Hameln (about 53 km)
as an alternative. If the weather should be
bad, then the Werre Park in Bad Oeynhausen (about 30 km) with its roofed shopping mall is the ideal destination arrival with the own car).
In the afternoon, you can relax with a tea time at the fireplace.
A fine, light 3-course menu awaits you in the evening.

At 7:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve, you will be awaited in the
Fasanerie hall for an appetizer greeting. Afterwards, the big New Year's Eve buffet will
be opened. Merry shows about past times guarantee
good entertainment.
The New Year's Eve celebration starts after the New Year's Eve buffet at about 11:00 p.m.
in the Gorgonius cellar. You can greet the
new year while piano music is played (no dance music). The pianist plays into the New
Year's night until about 2:00 a.m. The 324-pete castle hotel Weser River does not organize a New Year's
Eve firework itself. But if you have brought firecrackers with you, you have the
possibility to shoot them off yourself in the castle courtyard at midnight.
